You can combine them all in one easy to make delicious potion. This super healthy, deeply warming and cleansing tonic offers a number of health benefits: wakes up your digestive system, stimulates your immune system, metabolism and circulation, reduces bloating and inflammation, helps lower cholesterol and boost energy level, helps fight and prevent colds, and most importantly, for those who struggle with a problematic skin, it helps eliminate toxins from your system, therefore helps clear your skin from breakouts, pimples and blemishes.

Ingredients
  • ½ thumb size ginger root (grated)
  • ½ tsp turmeric
  • ½ tsp cinnamon
  • pinch of cayenne pepper
  • slice of lemon (optional)
  • mint leaf (optional)
  • 1 tbs raw apple cider vinegar with the mother
  • 1 tsp raw honey
How to make it
Put all the ingredients apart from the vinegar and honey into a mug and add boiling water. Cover with a saucer and leave steep for a few minutes. When it’s cool enough to drink, add the apple cider vinegar and honey, stir and enjoy.

Health benefits of ginger tea are endless but to benefit from it most it’s best to have it in the morning before brekkie on an empty stomach. You can prepare all the ingredients the night before so it’s takes seconds to make in the morning.

Regular drinking of this ginger tea may cause teeth sensitivity due to the apple cider vinegar content. To prevent it drink it through a bamboo or steel straw and/or rinse your mouth with water afterwards.
